In 2014, myself and five other teenagers set out to put together a creative conference entirely for young people, organised entirely by young people.

For the last two years, I’ve worked on putting together the running order for the event (featuring speakers from the BBC, Microsoft, Facebook and Playstation) as well as designing the visual identiy and printed materials for the event.

In late 2013, myself and the then Member of Youth Parliament for East Belfast, Matthew Carson (@MatthewCarson) co-founded YouthEast.

The app was built to provide an easy and fun way for young people in East Belfast to find things to do from their local youth group to football and chess clubs.

I designed the iOS app and worked with several iOS developers to release the app on the App Store.

In early 2013, I became involved with Thinkspace - an organisation aiming to promote and encourage more schools to get young people involved in coding.

I helped lead up the Thinkspace Pioneers programme, creating a network of talented young minds, running events and organising giveaways.

The project recieved support from the likes of Richard Branson, Stephen Fry and Jony Ive.
